This week on my way to work I was listening to The Today Show on Sirius Radio. Hoda and Maria Shriver were talking about what words describe their family and what was their family mission statement.
It stopped me to think about my family mission statement. Do we have one and do we know what it means? What words describe my family? How would you describe your family to strangers? What is meaningful to your family?
I think, every now and then, it’s good to stop and talk to our kids of all ages about what’s important to our family. Sit down and talk about how your family wants to give back, what your family is grateful for and how much you love each other! Choose your words wisely!
