Amazing Women Entrepreneurs and Leaders!

Women-Entrepreneurs-Innovators-Leaders

This past week Kathy and I attended our first WBENC convention in Baltimore, Maryland! WBENC is the acronym for Women’s Business Enterprise National Conference. WBENC is the largest certifier for women-owned businesses in the U.S. and a leading advocate for women business owners and entrepreneurs! We had an amazing time! You need to visit our Facebook Page, Twitter and Instagram to see and read more of the exciting details!

In the midst of managing my way through 4000 people and many remarkable sessions, I had to stop and take pause! I was blown away meeting such amazing and innovative women entrepreneurs! Listening to these leader’s stories and how they are making their mark on the world was inspiring! Even amongst 4000 people, you could feel their excitement and support for each other!

I started thinking about how can we help inspire young women to become leaders and entrepreneurs and more mature women make their dreams come true! Let’s start with saying less “Maybe” or “Possibly” and more “I Will” and “I Can”. Don’t be afraid of failure! At Suzy’s we say, Fail Forward Magnificently! Don’t Give Up! Be brave, be bold, be confident! Get involved and build up a network. Be Kind! Learn to build up other girls and women! Trust your Gut! You’ve Got This!

You’re never too young or too old to be a woman entrepreneur! It can be as simple as a Lemonade Stand or moving up to an incredible Frozen Yogurt Store! Think about all of the awesome leaders you have in your life, starting with our Mom’s, teacher’s, sister’s, mentor’s and the list can go on and on….

If you can dream it, you can achieve it!
