Early predictions are favoring Kansas City Chiefs and LA Rams to be the big winners of todays games! You'll have to tune in to see - if these games are anything like last weeks playoffs, just tune in for the last 4 minutes!
This past weekend commemorates Super Bowl XX on January 26, 1986 when the Chicago Bears defeated the New England Patriots and won Super Bowl XX. Even if you were not a Bear's fan, thirty six years ago almost every tv in Illinois was tuned in to watch Da'Bears, Coach Ditka and his eclectic group of players play the game of their lives! I can recall the Super Bowl party that I was at on this day and every room had a tv in it, even the bathroom! No one was going to miss a single play! When the Bears won, I thought the house was going to explode with excitement and cheering! It was an incredible day, that I still remember like it was yesterday!
I am the least qualified person to be talking about football or really any other sport! I am not a sporty person, I don't like to sweat, I don't want to get hurt and I am very uncoordinated! When I was in High School I only passed gym because my older sister was very athletic and on many teams! She threatened to quit if they didn't pass me - I passed with a C-. With that being said, I truly do love watching sports and I do my best to understand what those athletes are doing out there on the field or court!
In the midst of all of the stress of covid, instability in the world, snow storms, etc...... it is a welcome relief to take a break and watch some football! To be able to turn on your tv, make some nachos, wings or pizza and spend some quality time with friends, family and relax! So who will win todays games - I don't know! I do look forward to watching some good football and getting involved in the excitement of the day! Get your errands done now and get ready for some Football!
