GRADUATION DAY

Today my daughter Julie, is graduating from college! Julie is graduating from the University of Wisconsin – Milwaukee with a major in Human Resources! I am so proud of her and all that she has accomplished! I look forward to her starting her new job and starting this next adventure of her life!

Like so many parents, you shake your head and can’t believe your child is old enough to be graduating from college! It seems like it was just yesterday that you were walking them into preschool and so worried that they would never make any friends! Suddenly in the blink of an eye, 18 years’ flash by and you have a College Graduate!

For all graduates, 2020 has been challenging! Trying to navigate online learning, regular Covid testing, zoom calls, phone interviews and the list goes on and on, these graduates have learned to adapt! They have found a way to finish college, get a job and continue to move forward! The graduating class of 2020 is resilient, motivated and inspiring!

This virtual graduation ceremony is going to be different, but different is ok! We will watch the ceremony online, watch her move her tassel to the other side of her cap and celebrate her accomplishments! Bonus, this will all happen from the comfort of our living room!

Julie, be brave, confident and shoot for the moon. Even if you miss you will land among the stars! Congratulations!

You’re off to great places! Today is your day! Your mountain is waiting, so…get on your way!
