Just do it

About 27 years ago, my daughter was going to start speech therapy. I remember talking to my Mom about being concerned about it, she was so little. Her question to me was this, “Is it going to hurt her and will it help her?” My answer was “No, it won’t hurt her and Yes, it will help her!” Fast forward to today, is wearing a mask going to hurt you and will wearing a mask help you and others? The answer is no, it won’t hurt you and yes, it will help all of us. Just Do It!

When you think about it, there are so many things we do on a daily basis to keep us safe! We buckle up when we get into a car or a plane, we get our kids vaccinated, we follow the speed limit, we teach our kids to cough into their elbows, the list can go on and on! These are all simple and easy small things we do to stay well and healthy! The majority of people don’t question these processes we just do them! We know if we don’t we could be hurt or die! We Just Do It!

Let’s add wearing a mask when in public to the many things we do on a daily basis to keep us safe! Parents of school age kids can start right now teaching their kids how to wear a mask! Kids don’t need to wait until school starts to learn how to wear a mask! Let’s all be a role model to kids and teach them and show them why we all need to wear a mask! Just Do It!

At Suzy’s Swirl we are committed to keeping our crew safe and healthy and our customers safe and healthy too! From the start of a shift to the end of a shift we all wear a mask! We will continue to keep our indoor dining area closed until further notice! We ask that all customers coming to our door to please wear a mask! Just Do It!

I, like so many people I know, look forward to the day when we don’t have to wear a mask! Until that day comes, let’s Just Do It!
