March Madness or Mango Madness?

It’s the beginning of March, and I think we all feel madder already for a couple of reasons: firstly, everything we started in January and February is kicking into gear, and we have to put our pedals to the metal for school, work, and our personal goals. Spring allergies can be pretty intense, the weather is all over the place, and my usual comfort solutions are off-limits because of Lent! 

In March especially, I find myself looking for ways to stay upbeat and focused during this quasi-winter, hopeful summerbound sprint. Sometimes I look to basketball, a sport which no matter how many times the rules are explained mystifies me on a deep level. What counts as illegal contact? Why isn’t it traveling when players take four steps into a layup? Which yummy toppings represent which players? Sorry. One-track mind.

We all have our ways of indulging in and fending off madness in March, right? At the store, Ciara expresses her own March madness by putting Nutella sauce and cookie dough bites on Mango sorbet: the aforementioned Mango Madness! Our customers who are taking a break from sugar load up on crazy amounts of Carbolite yogurt with fruit, guilt-free!

Frozen yogurt truly is one of the maddest (this time I mean “mad” as in “totally hip,”) forms of self-expression out there. (And the most delicious.) During a month of madness, creativity is therapy, and swirling is such a pleasant playing field for letting off emotional steam. Be kind to the topping bar and don’t intentionally make a mess, but go wild with your combinations and show off your special brand of mid-March mania.

Is it weird for me to say making a yogurt cup is therapeutic for me? Perhaps my March madness is already more severe than I realized…
