My Nod to Kathy Lee Gifford
For the past 11 years I have enjoyed watching Kathy Lee and Hoda on the 4th hour of the Today Show! Their genuine friendship, compassion for others and wit shined through on each show! This past Friday, April 5th was Kathy Lee’s last show with Hoda! The today show has been celebrating Kathy Lee for the past several months! Some may wonder what is the big deal!
I do not know Kathy Lee personally, but what I saw of her on the Today Show, I believe we could be best friends! First and fore most she lives and breathes her Faith and does not apologize for it! She has shown the world that when life does not go your way, you find a new way! At the age of 65 she is excited to start a new chapter of her life!
Kathy Lee shows us that after great loss, you still have many chapters of your life to live! Granted it is not easy! We all do not have the means that Kathy Lee has! Just like her, though, we have choices we can make! You can choose to bury your head in the sand or you can hold your head up high and believe in yourself and the God Lord above!
Kathy Lee may not be everybody’s cup of tea! I do hope we are all open enough to embrace and be excited for all of the possibilities that each chapter of lives will bring! I will miss you Kathy Lee! Jeremiah 29:11
