What Women Inspires You?
As many young women are graduating from high school and college this June, it makes me stop and ponder the questions – Who Inspires these women to be the best they can be? Who Inspires these women to keep on going when times get tough? Not just “Who” Inspires them, but “What” Inspires them?
When I was younger, my Inspiration was my Mom! For different reasons then you might think! My Mom was one of the few Mom’s on our block that had a job outside of our home. She was a very good realtor! She worked nights and weekends! My Mom was so ahead of her time! I was one of the original latchkey kids! She Inspired me to want to be a Stay at Mom! I also found out that it would be my most difficult and rewarding job ever!
Let’s fast forward to 2019. Who Inspires the young women of today? Is it their Mom, Sister, Aunt, Grandma, Teacher, Coach, Friend or TV Reality Star….? Where are they getting their Inspiration from? Is it from an experience, a job, a book, a poem or in today’s world a Podcast? There are so many Podcasts to choose from to help Inspire Women such as, Earn Your Happy, Let’s Discuss and Style Your Mind, just to name a few! Where young women get their inspiration from is very different in 2019!
My list of women that inspire me has grown since I was a young women and it continues to grow! My Sisters, my Mother-in-law, women I have worked with and my daughter’s inspire me! There are so many different kinds of Influencers in today’s world – from Kylie Jenner, Taylor Swift, Ellen DeGeneres and Selena Gomez! These women all have very compelling stories of Inspiration!
Take a minute today and think about Who Inspires You, What Inspires You and Where You found Your Inspiration! It can be as simple as your next door neighbor, as spiritual as Mother Theresa, well known like Oprah or Your very own Mom! There are so many ways to find Inspiration in our lives!
“Everyone has inside them a piece of good news. The good news is you don’t know how great you can be! How much you can love! What you can accomplish! And what your potential is.”– Anne Frank
